I bought the Air Gear blue coiled water house first. It is the best. I plan to buy another. The Air Gear Torgue wrench is easy to use, come with hard case, bag, all the sockets you need & then some. I think it is the best available. I love it.

Tools could be better organized

Since I didn't have all the tools needed it was much easier to just get the kit and be done with it. Thanks for putting it all together in a nice neat little package - well done

Didn’t come with the right socket for our 2022 Caravel and the quality of the torque wrench is not great. You are better off piecing this together yourself imo

I knew tightening the lugs on an aluminum wheel is important so I grabbed this kit. They thought of everything, instructions as usual, very clear, even a safety vest and an extension, the right size sockets. All came in a beautiful Airgear bag. I loved it so much I bought one to carry in each trailer.

I purchased a tire changing kit from Air Gear. I was very pleased with the quality of the tools. The first was stolen and I didn’t think twice about purchasing another from Air Gear. You can’t go wrong with this kit. Added photo of myself putting on a new tire in my driveway. Now I know how. And I know I never want to change a tire on the road.

High quality tools in a single bag to make a tire change easier. Only comments are that the socket was metric and not 13/16 SAE, so there was some play on the lug nut. I bought the more appropriate socket size. Also a set of warning triangles might be nice to add to the kit. I bought some as they are critical if doing a tire change on the road.

TRUE STORY: On our very next outing after buying the tire changing kit - which BTW was only our second ever outing with our very recently acquired Airstream - we got a flat tire. The universe appeared to be telling us something, and it was something I wasn't hoping to hear this soon into our Airstream life. But the "good" news was a) I had all the tools needed to change the tire, and b) I had already watched Rich's video with his tips & tricks for changing an Airstream tire. We were safely parked at a truck stop, and I changed the tire with zero drama whatsoever while my wife looked on with awe. (Hardly, but she was grateful for the zero drama part.) This tire changing kit along with the necessary leveling blocks (or wheel ramp in my case, which worked great) are a MUST HAVE for anyone with a double axle camper, period, end of zero drama story.

I haven’t had to use it yet, but I bought it for insurance.

On a caravan to the Airstream International Rally one of our participants lost a wheel, and another had a total blowout on her way home. They both have dual axle trailers and we have a single axle trailer. When I asked my husband if we had the tools for changing a tire, he said yes...but I have no idea where they are, or which to use. I bought this set so I have my OWN tools, and hope we never need them! The tools are heavy duty, organized and solid.

The whole kits looks and feels great within the storage bag. Here's hoping we don't need to use it for a while but we did purchase after being stuck on a highway struggling to get the right size tools for the funky Airstream lug nuts. Highly recommend buying this and a bottle jack for your rig.

I ordered this kit out of precaution prior to our maiden voyage on our airstream. Of course we got a flat on that voyage, but had the kit, and especially the torque wrench, to make the tire change relatively quick and easy. The torque wrench in particular is important to have and I am very glad we did, and felt this product was fairly priced for the quality as well. Thank you!

The kit came as advertised and now I feel much better prepared when traveling while hoping to never need it.

I have never needed to change a tire on the road...and hopefully will never need to. But I now know that is possible and I have the tools to do it.

Hopefully, I will never need to use the tools. They are well made and contain all one would need to change a tire. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Hope I don’t have to use it to change a tire but it’s a quality kit. Planning on using the torque wrench to check the lug nuts on a regular basis.

The video instructions on how to use, and learning the lug nut tightness is so critical are invaluable. Nice kit that brings peace of mind if nothing else.

Fortunately I haven’t needed to use the tire changing function of the kit (hopefully never!) but it seems to have all I need in a nice tote. Tightened the lugs to the recommended torque setting (took me a while to understand the torque wrench). It will give me some peace of mind to know I have it.

I watched a video on this kit, and all the parts are exactly the same. The lug wrench fits whereas an Amazon lug wrench I purchased was too "fat" to wrap around the lug nut and clear the hub. Additionally, the breaker bar and extension are easy to use. The torque wrench works well too. The bag is nice and keeps everything together. It's a super kit.

I'm a new Airstreamer and had just about everything in this kit on my essential list to buy before traveling, but the kit covered more, with better quality products and a stowage bag that I now include with my essentials -- hoses, electrical and hitch gear -- in my upfront cargo bay. I ordered this item after seeing a few Airstreams that have wheel/tire assemblies falling off and the damage created by such an event. It made me reassess my own tool kit to ensure I was carrying what I needed to change a tire, then realized my kit fell short of what was needed. I haven’t used the tool kit yet, but I sleep better knowing it’s there when the time comes.

Good kit

You should have two kits. One basic kit like the one you have already, and a “premium” kit that includes a jack of some kind (bottle or scissors) that would lift the heaviest Airstream. (? 33 foot Classic?) I have been in places where if I had a trailer tire flat, I could NOT do the “roll the good tire on a leveler” trick. If a suit is afraid that somebody would sue Airstream if they got hurt changing a tire using a jack, simply have the purchaser sign a waiver before shipping the deluxe kit.

Another one of those necessities that comes well recommended by Airstream owners...I didn't recognize the importance of a torque wrench...It will be stowed in my trailer...hoping I don't have to use it, but feeling better because I know I have it!

Search many places for the right socket for the lugs on the airstream. Finally found the one that would work in this kit. Really couldn’t purchase the other major tools in this kit for the price. The quality is very good.

Something I hope we never have to use but . . .

Then one day I was shooting at some food…up from the ground came a bubbling crude. Oil that is (Texas Tea). Well the first thing you know ol Jeff is a billionaire. Kin folks said Jeff move away from here. Said California is the place you ought to be, so we loaded up the 23FB Flying Cloud and we are headed to Beverly…Hills that is. Swimming Pools and Movie Stars. Got in touch with the fine folks at Airstream Life Store and bought the tire changing kit. Just in case our Shiny toaster on wheels runs over a screw or two on our way to California. The fine folks shipped that rascle right away and now we have peace of mind knowing we have everything we need to change a tire on our rig if we need to. Couldn’t be happier with Airstream Life store.!!!!

After finding out the hard way my $80,000 Airstream did not have an onboard tire changing kit included from the factory (REALLY Airstream ?!?) my search for a solution was Airstream Life. What a great resource for Airstreamers! All the products the sell seem to be the best offered- good quality, useful, endearing quality items...and this tire changing kit is no exception. You could save a few dollars sourcing the included items individually, but the time and hassle saved is worth the cost. Take it from me: you DO NOT want to be stuck on the side of the road on a Sunday discovering for the first time your trailer didn't come with a tire changing kit! ( fortunately a road angel stopped and happened to have a socket assortment and ratchet that saved the day). I am aware there are videos on Youtube taking you through tire changes by driving up on leveling blocks (my trailer is a 23' Flying Cloud dual axle) but I'm a 'car guy' and also would appreciate a good jack in the kit in case of a dual blowout, personal preference really, and that's what I chose to add to my kit in a 'road emergency' tub. The tire kit from Airstream Life has everything I need to change a tire-in one bag that doesn’t take up a lot of space. My order was processed quickly and delivered on time.

The kit is great for three key reasons: 1) Unlike what I had before, all the tools are great quality and reside together in an easily-reachable bag under our truck rear seat, 2) It includes just the necessary tools that fit our trailers, 3) It's easy to use - I gave a "tire-changing" demo at a local Airstream Club International event and several folks were able to use the kit to practice removing/re-torquing the wheels. Highly recommended.

The included tools were all heavy duty, sturdy items. These should hold up for years. Thanks for including both size sockets! Storage bag is well made - shouldn't fall apart in a few years.

This is an outstanding tire changing kit. It comes with everything you need to deal with a flat or destroyed tire while going down the road. Every trailer owner should have this kit.

Lesson learned the hard way. We experienced our first flat tire on our Airstream trailer. Fortunately, we were safely tuck in at our campsite when we noticed one of tires was going flat. We knew that our trailer was not equipped with a jack, but we have one in our TV. First discovery the jack was not ideal but would work. Second discovery, the lug wrench for the TV did not fit the lug nuts on the trailer, apparently lugs are not a universal size. Since we were fortunate to be only camping less than an hour from home I was able to return to my house and retrieve all the tools needed. After exchanging the spare tire for the damaged tire I look online and found this tire changing kit on Airstream Store website. A key tool I did not have at home was the torque wrench need to properly torque the lug nuts. So I order the kit ($150). My only complaint is that this kit should be standard issue for all airstreams. Considering the investment owners make when purchasing an Airstream it should come fully equipped for tire changing.

My second review! Traveling on I-80 in Iowa and our TST alerted us to a rapid decrease in air pressure on our 16’ Bambi tire. We were able to stop before a blowout and, once again, our tire changing kit served us well. A faulty valve steam caused the flat this time. We added a small jack to our kit for extra convenience, since it’s becoming a regular occurrence!

Good Video but More Info Needed That was a very well done video. Now...show me how to do this with my single axle Bambi and let's see how the spare gets put back on it's carrier after the damaged tire is repaired.

Just needed it! Just wanted to let you know we put our tire changing kit to good use this past week when a huge nail caused our Bambi tire to go flat overnight. So glad we watched the webinar a few weeks ago and ordered the kit. We also have the TST tire monitoring system, and it has come in handy twice when dealing with slow leaking tires. It seems we are a nail magnet with our Bambi.

Stowing the spare I think the video should end with the “flat” tire being stowed. Otherwise, thanks for the video.

Looks good Looks like a good set. Only disappointment is the tire pressure gauge is for 10-50 PSI. Our AS tires need to be set to 80 PSI. I’ve emailed the store requesting a replacement tire pressure gauge.

On the road again Gotta say I am often accused of over preparation but when it comes to flat tires one can never be too prepared. If you're lucky you'll never need this but if you do need it, it won't disappoint. We always check pressure and torque before heading out--and this kit has every thing you need--but you never know what you'll encounter once underway. This past weekend we picked up a knife blade in the sidewall of our rear curbside tire just 30 minutes from home. Changing was a piece of cake and we were comfortably on the road again within 15 minutes. Thanks so much for providing everything needed for piece of mind on the road.
