Works great with no worries!

DON’T LEAVE WITHOUT IT!!!

Upgraded from a standard surge protector. It’s essential if you travel, especially full time.

Over three years of use and numerous events of protection through surges, loss, and inadequate polarity, this protecter is still protecting.

Excellent product and it gives me assurance the power we are connecting to is safe.

Always great to order from Air Gear and read or watch their videos. Great information.

Just used it for the first time. Very easy to get the plugs in & out. No error codes so we were happy! Need to find a storage bag for it. It’s humongous!

Plug and play.
Plug it in, then go play!

Have not had a chance to use it but it was an easy order and arrived fast

Great Product. key features we really find useful and more unique: 1. Actually interrupts power when there is a problem, not just filtering surges, which prevents damage to the many electronic devices. 2. Displays current voltage and amps, which allow you to monitor actual power consumption of any of your electrical appliances. 3. keeps connections covered from the weather.

Mostly the campground electric connections are fine. I just used my regular old surge protector. A few times though I ended up with blown breakers & a noisy, struggling A/C from low voltage.
This unit is smart enough to detect the trouble & re-sets accordingly.
I think it just paid for itself last week at a CG where others were having trouble.
Love it!

You get what you pay for. Great price of mind that the trailer is protected.

I have not used it yet....but having surge protection is a benefit.

First unit was mis-wired. A little challenging to resolve, actually had to submit a warranty claim with the company vice just returning for a replacement. Once that process was sorted out, they were very responsive and received a new unit in a couple of days. Appears to be working well. Accurately tracks voltage and current and no issues with several rainy days.

Ah dude it worked perfectly! Directions were exquisitely clear and the unit very easy to operate. As instructed, plug it in to the camp site plug, let the unit “read” the power and if all is good (no errors) then (following directions) plug in the shore line to unit. There is a continuous rolling update on voltage, current and error-state visible from inside trailer. Without a doubt, though a bit pricey, this unit is an excellent and comforting bit of protection to an otherwise very expensive and time-consuming (aka not camping) repair if there are electrical issue at a site. Very glad I purchased this!

Once one realizes the consequences of an electrical surge or under-voltage event, this device will be considered the best investment you'll ever make. Recently, the second night of a trip to Chatfield State Park during the monsoon season, a late thunderstorm produced a couple of lightning hits within the park boundary. No worries, I was fully protected.

A must have. Seems most camp grounds are having electrical problems. Not sure why but this is a way to make sure it doesn’t affect you.
Other than you ma be without shore power- and for a good reason.

I have yet to put it to use but liked the EMS capability for greater security. Also liked the integrated metal loop to allow surge protector to be locked to post.

Ordered this prior to our year end two week trip. My other brand bit the dust trip before last. This one arrived in time to take along. I like the rotating display, gives all needed information. As always ordering from Airstream Life Store was quick and easy.

Very nice device! Bigger than I realized it would be. The company seems reputable and it was easy to get electronic copies of their manuals. I wish it had Bluetooth like some of the competition.

Does what it is supposed to do. Easy to read digital readout. Works great. Highly recommended by presenter at Airstream International Rally this summer.

Checked into RV park with recently rewired electric service. It was hot and everyone was running the A/C. This device confirmed a service of 110 volts and quickly dropped to less than 104 at which point the device shut down service and provided me with the appropriate error code. Low voltage was confirmed and alternative power arrangements were made. Progressive surge protector and low voltage alert protected my Airstream’s A/C and allowed me to get plugged into service that provided my wife and me with a good nights sleep.

After only one trip with the EMS Power Protector I have minimal experience to report. But for the peace of mind factor alone I can recommend it. Only after reading of others' having been saved from disasters did I really recognize the dangers I'd been risking at various campgrounds.
If I have any criticism of the EMS device it is in using it at a short pedestal: The vertical drop from the box puts your power cord plug-in down about a foot and then if you are adapting to a 30a cord, which I sometimes do (more manageable than the anaconda), you're now even further down. But with short adapters I can use the EMS at either a 30a or 50a plug and can adapt to use a 30a cord instead of the big 50a cord.

Super large but happy to have it esp when the park we were in suggested it! Whew!
